• Knudsen Cells are especially designed for preparation of organic thin films
  by evaporation in high vacuum (HV) and ultra high vacuum (UHV) systems.
  
• The design is based on the long tradition of Knudsen Cells fabrication developed since 1995 at the Institute C.N.R. - I.S.M.N. of Bologna.
  
• The patented heating element is optimised to produce an extremely uniform
  and constant molecular flux that allows a low heat transport towards the
  external ambient.
  
• Careful design of the gradient temperature profile eliminates condensation of
  organics at the outlet orifice. This is achieved by the proprietary Knudsen Cell
  design.
  
• A three layer Tantalum heating screen provides a very efficient thermal
  screening.
